Kilmarnock – Atlas cables, the engineering led cable specialist has launched two new cables, the Element Mezzo XLR and the Equator XLR. With both cables, Atlas wishes to expand the range of precision analogue interconnects offered at a more affordable price than was previously available.

The Element Mezzo XLR
Utilising balanced core technology, the Element Mezzo XLR uses an oxygen free copper (OFC) conductor working with gas loaded high density foamed polyethylene dielectric. The Element Mezzo also features a high efficiency braided screen and an all-new copper alloy XLR plug and pins. All combine together delivering a cable that has minimal signal deletions for maximum fidelity.

Element Mezzo XLR 0.5m – £146.25                                       Element Mezzo XLR 0.75m – £150.50
Element Mezzo XLR 1.0m – £154.75                                       Element Mezzo XLR 1.5m – £163.25
Element Mezzo XLR 2.0m – £171.75                                       Element Mezzo XLR 3.0m – £188.75

The Equator XLR
Manufactured using Ohno Continuous cast (OCC) copper with a balanced core, the Equator is a step up from Element XLR in terms of performance. The dielectric is also gas loaded high density foamed polyethylene. There is minimal screen distortion for maximal RFI protection. The XLR plug is manufactured using OCC pins and Atlas cold weld technology.

Equator XLR 0.5m – £475.00                                                     Equator XLR 0.75m – £487.50
Equator XLR 1.0m – £500.00                                                     Equator XLR 1.5m – £525.00
Equator XLR 2.0m – £550.00                                                     Equator XLR 3.0m – £600.00

Kevin Kelly, Managing Director at Atlas cables had this to say. “Both these cables represent great value to the consumer in terms of performance and build. True balanced cables are often much higher in price and we wanted to give our customers a greater range of options. It’s great to be able to implement so much of our existing high end technology into these new XLR interconnects.”
