25th March 2015 – Oslo, Norway – TIDAL, the first high fidelity lossless music streaming service with HD music videos and curated editorial, is delighted to announce its integration with Lode Audio, the London (UK)-based multi-room audio brand. After a simple software update, users will be able to seamlessly stream TIDAL’s extensive library of 25 million CD-quality tracks throughout their homes, without the issues of interference and delays experienced by many wireless based audio systems.
The integration of TIDAL into Lode Audio’s LA4 multi room audio system, built on Lode’s patented LodeNet, enables simple streaming of the service into any room of a property. Controllable via either smartphones/tablets or many of the leading multi room control systems including AMX or Crestron, the Lode Audio LA4 will give TIDAL customers complete control of the service, allowing them to browse the library, create playlists and generally enjoy music the way it should sound.
Commenting on the announcement, Ed Stark, CEO at Lode Audio, said, “Having spent so much time developing the LodeNet platform, which is designed to deliver music at its highest quality, we are delighted that a streaming service the quality of TIDAL is now available and integrated into our system. The performance is truly excellent and we know our customers, all of which are music lovers, are going to love it”.
Pål Bråtelund, Strategic Partnership Manager HiFi at TIDAL, said, “The Lode Audio platform is one of the few multi room audio systems that hails performance as its primary aim. It is extremely important that we work with like-minded companies and this integration in particular highlights the importance of high quality music streaming to the custom installation market”.
